Endorsements
At no time in the annals of sports has the timing of a movie been more important. The following athletes, many of whom were actually present during this true David versus two Goliaths historical event, have endorsed the making of the compelling true story into a film.
“I think this movie should be made so we can get the story out and use it as a platform to talk about the guys who have no voice.”
-Joe DeLamielleure
Joe DeLamielleure is one of the very few offensive linemen in NFL history who blocked for both a 2,000-yard runner, and a 4,000-yard passer, each of whom won an NFL Most Valuable award. For this fact, as well as multiple Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors over a 13-year career with the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns, DeLamielleure was inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
“Somewhere sometime along the line we’re gonna have justice and we’re gonna get what we deserve. Nothing more. Nothing less. But what we deserve.”
-Dan Pastorini
Dan Pastorini was one of football’s most recognized and accomplished players during his 13-year NFL career. As the Oilers’ starting quarterback for nine seasons, he led his team to successive AFC Championship games in 1978 and 1979. Pastorini was selected to the NFL Pro Bowl following the 1975 season.
